Writing & Creativity Coaching
If you want to take your writing to the next level, to go from "aspiring" to published, or have more accountability for completing projects, writing coaching is for you. Jen will create a customized curriculum to fit your specific goals. Coaching may include helping you find your unique writing style/genre, working on generative prompts, an introduction into the publishing world, submitting work to publications, putting together a manuscript and/or receiving much needed encouragement. The World In Poetry Workshop The World in Poetry is an eight week workshop aimed at finding and celebrating the poetry that exists in the world and ourselves. Poetry is about noticing. It is about falling in love with each petal of a pinecone. It is about getting so excited to see the moon still hanging out in the morning that you have to stop and say hello. It is a means for sharing your unique way of experiencing and interacting with the world. All are welcome, especially those newer to creative writing. You contain poetry and the world needs more you. Editing Services $10 per poem. Includes detailed edits and suggested journals for submission. Use this form to submit your work for review. Creative Writing Tutoring for Students Jen Gayda Gupta works 1:1 with students of all ages to help them remove writing blocks through creative, rule-free expression. Through unique prompts and engaging poems, students will explore their voice, their story, and their identity. Poetry is about so much more than writing. It is about paying close attention and embracing your unique way of experiencing the world. If you think your student would benefit from a renewed appreciation for language, the world, and themselves, this is the program for them. To find out more about any of these offerings, use the link above to schedule your free, 30 minute call. We will discuss your writing journey and specific goals, and determine which program is right for you. |
Testimonial: Jen is the kind of writer and person who makes themselves known through their writing–and she’s precisely as dreamy as she seems! Her feedback and guidance never felt like it was asking me or my poems to be something they weren’t; she didn’t treat them like objects or projects. She treated them like a garden she was invited to help me tend and grow, and that level of safety and trust she cultivates almost instantly is something I haven’t found before. She helped me take rough drafts to final drafts to published in the actual world poems, and she made the process so approachable. So possible! And she made me believe I could do it! I felt like my words were worthy of being seen by the world because Jen saw them, saw me, and tended to us both first. I couldn’t have done any of this without her. -Kelly C. |
